Fuel supply shutoff valve design | The fuel supply shutoff valve (Y75) consists of a coil (20/2), an armature (20/1) and a ball valve (20/4). | ||
Fuel supply shutoff valve function | In the deenergized state (voltage exists at the control cable of the valve) the fuel is able to flow unrestrictedly to the high pressure pump. When the armature (20/1) is energized (no control voltage exists), the ball valve (20/4) is closed. The fuel supply by the fuel delivery pump flows back through the integrated pressure limiting valve to the suction side. |
