Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove

Remove holder of lower guide pulley for poly-V-belt.



 The removed holder of the guide pulley with the related bolts is no longer required and is to be handed over to the customer or disposed of properly after consulting first with the customer.

Remove electrical wiring harness (14).

 To do so, unclip retaining clips (15, 16).



Install

Retrofit holder (1).

 Screw in bolts (2) to do this.

Retrofit holder (3).

 To do so, screw in bolts (4, 5, 6).

 A refrigerant compressor must still be installed to complete assembly of the vehicle.

Install electrical wiring harness (14).

 To do so, mount retaining clips (15, 16).
Mount retaining clip (16), as shown, onto holder (1).

 Check retaining clips (15, 16) for damage.

If any is found,



replace damaged retaining clips (15, 16).

Retrofit refrigerant compressor.

 To do so, follow the manufacturer's installation instructions for the respective refrigerant compressor.

 Screw/nut, refrigerant compressor to major assembly carrier/bracket

If, with spacer sleeves, (included in the parts kit) it is not possible to produce an exact alignment of the poly-V belt with the refrigerant compressor used,



determine suitable spacer sleeves and install.

Install new poly-V belt.



 Use poly-V-belt from the "parts kit holder".

Update vehicle documentation (VeDoc)

Attach "Holder for refrigerant compressor retrofitted as per AZ83.55-D-0002TS note" under field organization texts for DG 83.
