1 | Turn key in ignition lock to position "0" | Vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go: Press Keyless-Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. | |
2.1 | Remove flap in left side paneling in cargo area | Model 164. Remove stowage compartment if necessary. | |
2.2 | Remove trim from spare tire well | Model 251. | |
3 | Take off cover (4) | Risk of fracturing! | |
Model 251. Push in tabs (arrows). | |||
4 | Remove multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) with soundproofing (1) | Do not kink pneumatic lines (3). | |
5 | Remove front half of soundproofing (1) | Installation: Pay attention to the correct seat of the two halves of the soundproofing (1). | |
6 | Fold up rear half of soundproofing (1) | ||
7 | Remove multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) from soundproofing (1) | ||
8 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) from the multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) | ||
9 | Detach pneumatic lines (3) from the multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) | Installation: Do not mix up pneumatic lines (3). | |
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
11 | Perform a function test |
