Remove top right A-pillar trim

 Only loosen A-pillar trim until the antenna lead can be removed and installed.

Remove right front floor covering

Remove front right footrest

Disconnect stationary heater antenna (A2/27) from windshield

Installation: Degrease adhering surface with cleaning cloth.

Loosen roof trim between interior rearview mirror and right A-pillar

Installation: Push antenna lead behind roof trim with a plastic wedge.

Remove antenna lead (4) up to Telestart receiver (A6a1)

Installation: Wrap antenna lead with felt strips.

Disconnect antenna lead (4) from connector (A2/27x1) at Telestart receiver (A6a1)

Installation: Connect connector hand-tight only.

Installation: Tie excessive antenna lead length back in a ring of at least ø 50 mm.

Install in the reverse order



Testing

Switch heater unit (A6) on with Telestart transmitter (A8/3)

 When the heater unit's recirculating pump and combustion air blower start up and the fuel metering pump begins to operate, switch heater unit off.
