Remove/install

Remove fluid reservoir

Remove the automatic transmission oil cooler from the condenser (3) and move to one side with lines attached

MODEL 906 with CODE G42 (7G-TRONIC PLUS)

Remove cover (1) at fan shroud

Remove air intake pipe (2)

Unscrew nut (8) and remove refrigerant lines (6, 7) from connector of condenser (3)



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

BB00.40-P-0362-01A

 Installation: Replace nuts (8).
Replace sealing rings and moisten with compressor fluid.

Seal openings of refrigerant lines (6, 7) and on condenser (3) using stop plugs

 Record plug

Disconnect electrical connection from refrigerant pressure sensor (B12)

Unclip cooler (5) from front module (arrows A) and push backwards

Release left and right lock (4) on cooler (5), unhook condenser (3) upwards out of guides (arrows B, C) on cooler (5)

 Helper required.

Remove condenser (3)

Remove refrigerant pressure sensor (B12)

When replacing the condenser (3).
