Remove left B-pillar paneling

Remove switches of soft top locks

Remove soft top control drive unit (2)

Remove left soft top drive electric motor

Disconnect electrical connector (3) at soft top drive electric motor right from above

Disconnect electrical connectors at rear window

Disconnect electrical connectors (4)

Detach electrical wiring harness (1) from body, main bearings and roof cassette, and remove


Make sure that electrical wiring harness (1) is routed correctly.
Otherwise the electrical wiring harness (1) can be damaged due to shearing or chafing.

Install in the reverse order
