Remove/install

Switch off ignition

Remove center curtain rail (6)

Remove clips from front headliner (3) below center curtain rail (6)

Remove upper paneling from left and right A-pillar

Remove footwell cover (13) on passenger side

Remove outer driver side footwell cover (15) and supports (16) on driver side

Remove side paneling (12, 14) from instrument panel

Disconnect electrical connectors for driver side roof (X109.21) and electrical connector for passenger side roof (X111.21, X112.18)

Remove roof electrical wiring harness from right and left A-pillar

Remove left front clearance lamp (E18) and right front clearance lamp (E19)

11

Detach door seal (7) in area of front roof paneling (3) on right and left

Remove clips (4)

Remove bolts (11)

Remove sun visors (10)

Open roof hatch and remove edge protection strip (5)

Remove grab handle (8) above passenger door

Remove grab handle adjacent to roof hatch

If present.

Partially remove bracket with center curtain rail (6)

19

Remove front headliner (3)

 The electrical equipment and roof electrical wiring harness remain on the front headliner (3).

 Mounting wedge

Install in the reverse order
