Removing and installing side paneling in rear

Remove, Install



Before opening and closing the center door open front and rear door. Center door should be slammed, not pushed closed.



Protect interior equipment and floor covering against contamination and damage.

Remove left and right seat cushion (1) from face-to-face seat

 The removal of the rear seat cushion is the same as for the rear seat and face-to-face seat

Remove left and right side panel (2) in rear

Unscrew cover (3)

Remove handle (4) from B2-pillar

Pull cover (5) on rear door entry upward

Remove edge guard (6) in area of B2-pillar and pry out clips (7, 5 each).

Unscrew ventilation hose (8) from AC housing

Press molding strip (9) out of door control module cover ( 10) with assembly wedge

Remove handle cover (11)

Unscrew door control module cover (10)

Disconnect electrical connectors from door control module and remove door control module cover (10)

Unscrew nuts (12a) and screws (12b)

Remove screws (12b)

Unscrew nuts (13).

Remove side paneling (14) from adjustment plate (15).

 Do not damage headliner (16).

Disconnect electrical connectors and pneumatic lines from side paneling (14)

Installation: Replace cable strap.

Remove side paneling (14)

Install in the reverse order
