Feeler gauge

 The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In the case of damage to the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be similarly performed there.
The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1	Install outer rear wheel well (1), rear fender, taillamp, seal and lock striker and fit.

2	Check gaps using  feeler gauge and adjust.

3	Fix outer rear wheel well (1) in place.

4	Remove rear fender, taillamp, seal and lock striker.

5	Drill rivet holes in outer rear wheel well (1) with Ø 6.7 mm (area A).

6	Remove outer rear wheel well (1).

7	Deburr rivet holes on outer rear wheel well (1) and body on both sides.

8	Remove drilling chips.

9	Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

10	Install outer rear wheel well (1) and fix in place.

11	Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) with rivets Ø 6.4x12 (area B).
