Carry out disconnection of high-voltage system

Cover electrical connectors (1, 2)

Unscrew bolt (8) and remove ground line (7)

 Ground line to high-voltage distributor

Detach electrical lines (3, 4) from high-voltage distributor module (N116/6) to power electronics

Release electrical connector (5) and detach high-voltage battery 1 (G5)

Cover electrical connector (5) and create access to line

Unscrew nuts (arrows) and remove high-voltage distributor module (N116/6)


Reattach the cover before removing/installing the high-voltage distributor module (N116/6) in order to prevent foreign objects and dirt from entering. Perform a visual inspection before sealing the high-voltage distributor module (N116/6).
Foreign objects and dirt can otherwise lead to insulation faults.

 Helper required.

Install in the reverse order

Perform initial startup of high-voltage system

 After completing the work, attach initial startup event log together with the power disable event log to the vehicle file.
