Remove/install

Remove cover (7).

Release securing adhesive strips (8) from high-voltage power distributor (5).

Unclip fuse panel (9) at catch hook (10) and remove.

Remove screws (2) with clamping disks (3) and washers (4) of corresponding electrical fuse (1) and remove electrical fuse (1).

When removing one and/or both fuses (1).

 Installation: Take into account position of clamping disks (3) and washers (4).

 Bolt, retainer to high-voltage power distributor on underbody

Remove screws (12) with clamping disks (13) and washers (14) and remove electrical fuse (11).

When removing electrical fuse (11).

 Installation:
Do not mix up position of electrical fuse (11) and electrical fuse (15).
Electrical malfunctions can otherwise occur.

 Installation: Take into account position of clamping disks (13) and washers (14).

 Bolt, retainer to high-voltage power distributor on underbody

Remove screws (16) with clamping disks (17) and washers (18) and remove electrical fuse (15).

When removing electrical fuse (15).

 Installation: Take into account position of clamping disks (17) and washers (18).

 Bolt, retainer to high-voltage power distributor on underbody



Check

Check corresponding electrical fuse (1, 11, 15) using a digital multimeter for continuity.



If defective



Replace corresponding defective electrical fuse (1, 11, 15).

Install in the reverse order.
