Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.

Remove left intake port

Suction off oil from expansion reservoir (1)



Detach metal clamp on pump fitting

Detach clamp (3), detach return line from expansion reservoir (1)

 Plug openings.

 Installation: Replace clamp (3).



Remove bolt (2)

 Engine 113: One bolt.

 Engine 272, 273: Three bolts (2), observe different lengths.



Detach expansion reservoir (1) from pump fitting

 Plug openings.

 Installation: Replace O-ring on pump fitting.



Install in the reverse order

Fill power steering pump and bleed

Checking

Check the steering system for leaks when the engine is running.
