Remove steering wheel

Remove/install steering wheel

Tilt the steering column using the lock / unlock button (1)

 Align the steering system to straight ahead position

Remove steering column top cover (2)

 Steering column top cover screw tighten

Remove steering column bottom cover (3)

 Steering column bottom cover screw tighten

Remove IPU or brake pedal cover (4) from right hand side of the steering column

 Brake pedal cover to the right hand side of the steering column

Remove clutch pedal cover (5) from the left hand side of the steering column

 Clutch pedal cover to the left hand side of the steering column

Remove LHS cluster cover from LHS of steering column

 LHS cluster cover to LHS of steering column

Remove RHS cluster cover by removing mounting screws (6) and dashboard RHS side cover

Disconnect electrical connectors of OBD (7) and head light adjustment (8) behind the RHS - dashboard cover

Remove steering tilting pneumatic hose connection (9) using a screwdriver

Disconnect electrical connector socket (10) of combination switch

Remove combination switch (11) from steering column

 Combination switch to steering column

Disconnect electrical connector of ignition switch (12)

Remove the ignition switch using a screwdriver

Loosen worm-drive clamp of the dust cover (13) on the steering column bottom shaft

Remove steering column shaft mounting bolt (14) from steering gear box input shaft

 Steering column center shaft to steering column

Remove steering column shaft (15) from steering column and remove the bottom shaft from steering column and power steering gear box

 Installation: Steering column bottom shaft U-J slit has to align with marking on steering gearbox input shaft.

 Installation of steering column bottom shaft with dust cover between steering column and power steering gearbox

Remove the U - joint mounting bolts (16) from center shaft

 U-joints on center shaft

Remove steering column by removing the mounting bracket bolts (17) from cabin front wall

Remove RHS door entrance by removing screws (18)

Remove accelerator pedal cover (5)

Remove RHS floor mat from the cabin

Remove steering column glazer by removing the screws (19)

Remove steering column booth (20) from cabin

Install in the reverse order

 Remove/install steering column tube
