Remove propeller shaft

Unlock the collar nut (2)

 Use proper tools.

Remove the collar nut (2)


Do not use any pneumatic device.
Otherwise, damage may occur to the thread of the propeller shaft, as to the tapered roller bearings and bearings.

Remove the drive flange (3)

 Puller

Remove the sealing ring (4) and the protective plate (5)

 Use proper tools.

Remove the retaining ring (6)

 Use proper tools.

Remove longitudinal differential axle (1) from the bridge (7)



Measure

Determine the installation measure of the longitudinal differential axle (1) on the bridge (7)

Install

Install the longitudinal differential axle (1) on the bridge (7)

 With tapered roller bearings and bearing cap mounted on the longitudinal differential axle (1).

Install the sealing ring (5)

Install the protective cover (4)

Install the drive flange (3)

Install the collar nut (2)
