Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

Disassembling the ring gear with the differential

Remove the ring gear (1) from the differential case (2)

Remove the crosswise pins (3, 7)

 Using a screwdriver, push the pins (3, 7) out of the differential case (2), being careful not to damage the housing.

Remove the satellite gears (4) with the spherical washers (5)

Disassemble the planetary gear (6) and the thrust washer (8) from the differential housing (2) and from the ring gear (1)

 Use a screwdriver, being careful not to damage the thrust washers (8).



Check

Check the parts for damages and wear

 Replace the damaged and worn parts.

Carry out assembly of the differential in reverse order

Assemble the ring gear with the differential
