15 | Install the cover (13) on the planetary gear case (2) and tighten the bolts | Observe the two halves position markings. New planetary gear cases must carry the same numbering. | |

17 | Heat up the ring gear (3) to approx. 80 °C and install it on the differential case | The warming is not to be done with direct flame. | |
18 | Install the gear ring fastening bolts (15) and tighten them with the specified tightening torque | Utilize new and self-locking bolts. Should no self-locking bolts be utilized, install a new lock plate under pressure and bend the safety tabs. | |
