1 | Turn off the master switch | ||
Warning | Risk of injury caused by pinching and crushing when opening and closing engine hood | No one should be within the swivel range of the engine hood as it is being opened or closed. Always open engine hood all the way to the end position until this engages in the front locks. | |
2 | Open the hood and actuate the safety lock |

3 | Depressurize (empty) the vehicle's compressed air system | ||
4 | Disconnect the pneumatic tubes from the pedal valve |

5 | Inside the cabin, remove the bolts (12) and remove the pillar's cover (11) | ||
6 | Remove the bolts (20) with the washers (19) that fasten the steering column (14) to the upper and lower supports and move the steering column back | .Column anchor bolt | |

7 | Disconnect the electric cables from the brake light switch | ||
8 | Remove the nuts (9) with the washers (10) that fasten the rack (1) to the front wall | .Bracket mounting nuts | |
9 | From outside the cabin, at the engine compartment, remove the pedal valve (2) with the respective fastening support (6). Remove the gasket (7) | Installation: Replace the gasket (7). | |
10 | Being inside the cabin, remove the complete rack (1) with the brake pedal and the joint (8) | Installation: Replace the gasket (8). | |
11 | If necessary, unscrew the nuts (3) and remove the pedal valve (2) from the support (6) | Installation: If necessary, remove the studs (6.1) and replace them. | |
