1 | Remove the countershaft bearing cap (1) | Utilize an appropriate mandrel. | |
Assembly: Heat the housing around the countershaft bearing cap (1) to approx. 80 °C. Utilize an appropriate mandrel. | |||
2 | Remove main shaft bearing cap (2) | Utilize an appropriate mandrel. | |
Assembly: Heat the housing around the main shaft bearing cap (2) to approx. 80 °C. Utilize an appropriate mandrel. | |||
3 | Remove the retaining ring (3) | ||
4 | Remove the locking lever (4) from the housing along with the bearing plate (5) | ||
5 | Remove the breather (6, 7) | The type of breather changes according to the transmission version. | |
