Remove/install clutch plate of torque converter clutch

3 Turbine shaft with bearing cap

4 Sealing ring

5 Screw

6 Screw

 	Remove/install
1	Remove torque converter clutch (1)		AR25.40-G-0100A
2	Remove shift clutch		AR25.40-G-0200A
3	Remove torque converter		AR25.40-G-0400A
4	Remove bolts (5) on periphery of bearing cap		*BA25.40-N-1007-01A
		 Installation: Install new sealing rings (4).
5	Remove turbine shaft (3) with clutch plate (2)	 Handle and store clutch plate (2) carefully; throwing or dropping can lead to severe imbalance and separating difficulties.
		 For lifting out and in, use a suitable hoist.
6	Remove bolt (6) on circumference of clutch plate		*BA25.40-N-1004-01A
		 Installation: Install new bolt (6).
7	Check contact surface on clutch plate	 If there is unevenness, cracks or scorch marks 
		Replace clutch plate (2).
8	Clean contact surface of clutch plate (2)	 Grind off contact surface using coarse abrasive paper.
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Check oil level in torque converter clutch and correct if necessary		AP25.40-G-0200A
11	Check for leaks	 Visual inspection.
