1 Torque converter

2 Drain opening

3 Sealing ring

4 Screw plug

5 Torque converter shaft

6 Turbine shaft

7 Stator shaft

8 Torque converter clutch

9 Journal (pressure oil pump)

 	Removal, installation
1	Remove torque converter clutch (8)		AR25.40-G-0100A
2	Remove torque converter (1)	 The torque converter (1) should only be pulled off in the upright position
		 Installation: The slots of the torque converter shaft (5) must engage fully in the journals (9) of the pressure oil pump.  Installation: The torque converter shaft (5) must be connected positively with the splines on the stator shaft (7) and turbine shaft (6).
3	Check torque converter (1) for leaks and condition	 If the torque converter is defective 
		Unscrew screw plug (4), drain and dispose of oil, replace defective torque converter (1).
4	Install in reverse order	 Prior to installing the torque converter clutch, 
		check installed dimension of the torque converter	AR25.40-G-0400-01A
			*BE25.40-N-1001-03A
			*WE58.40-Z-1002-19A
5	Fill torque converter clutch with oil		AP25.40-G-0100A
6	Check for leaks	 Visual inspection.
