Danger | Risk of death when working on component parts and systems with U >= 30 V alternating voltage (AC) or U >= 60 V direct voltage (DC) | Do not touch damaged or defective live component parts and lines or non-insulated electrical connections and lines.
Warning | Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

1 | Open engine hood and secure against falling down
2 | Carry out enable of high voltage system
3 | Drain coolant of the low-temperature cooling circuit
4 | Detach clamps (2) at coolant hoses (1) | Hose clamp pliers
5 | Disconnect coolant hoses (1) from low-temperature coolant pump (M43/1) | Collect coolant which flows out.
6 | Seal connections at low-temperature coolant pump (M43/1) and coolant hoses (1)
7 | Loosen bolts (3) at retaining clamps (5, 6) and pull low-temperature coolant pump (M43/1) out of retaining clamps (5, 6) until electrical connector (4) is accessible | Installation: Observe installation position of low-temperature coolant pump (M43/1) to retaining clamp (6). Align low-temperature coolant pump (M43/1) when you insert it.
