1 | Remove the plug (20) from the housing and allow the oil to drain. | Collect the oil in an appropriate container. | |

2 | Remove the screw (23) with the sealing ring (21), the washer (22) and remove the housing (2). | Installation: Use a new sealing ring. | |

3 | Remove the disposable secondary filtering element (3.1) from inside the housing (2). | Discard the filtering element in an eco-friendly manner. | |
Installation: Use a new genuine filtering element. | |||
4 | Remove the primary filtering element (3) (metallic). | Before installing the primary (metallic) filtering element, it must be thoroughly washed and dried with compressed air. | |
5 | Remove the pressure plate (18) with the spring and the stop (19) and the sealing ring (17) from inside the filter housing (2). | Installation: Wash all parts thoroughly and install new sealing rings (21) and (17). | |
6 | Remove the bolts (13) and remove the head (1) from the crankcase. | Oil filter head to the engine block | |
7 | Remove the gasket (10). | Installation: Perfectly clean the contact surfaces and use a new gasket. | |
8 | Remove the safety valve (pressure limiter) composed by parts (4),(5),(6) and (7). | ||
9 | Remove the plugs (8), (11), (14) and (15a) with their respective sealing washers (9), (12) and (15). | Installation: Use new sealing washers. | |
10 | Thoroughly wash the head channels and dry using compressed air. | ||
11 | Install in reverse order. | Installation: When starting the engine, make it turn through the starter engine until oil pressure is reestablished in the lubrication system. Do not actuate the starter for more than 10 seconds, if the oil pressure is not reestablished within this interval, wait 30 seconds to cool the starter. Then repeat the operation. | |
12 | Work engine and check it regarding system leak tightness. | ||
13 | Check oil level on the dipstick. | Complete oil quantity if necessary. |
