1 | Turn key in ignition lock to position "0" | Vehicles with Keyless-Go code 889: Press the Keyless-Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. | |
2 | Remove air filter housing | ||
3 | Remove screws (1) of ignition coils (T1/1 to T1/6 and/or T1/1 to T1/8) | Screw/bolt, ignition coil to cylinder head cover | |
4 | Detach ignition coils (T1/1 to T1/6 and T1/1 to T1/8) with spark plug connectors (a) upwards and remove | ||
5 | Disconnect electrical connectors of ignition coils (T1/1 to T1/6 and/or T1/1 to T1/8) | ||
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
7 | Read out fault memory | ||
