Switch off ignition

 Air lines have compressed air applied to them for up to 3 min after the engine by the EATS. It is only after this that work can be begun on the EATS.

Disconnect electrical connection (1) from SCR compressed air pressure limiter solenoid valve

Remove screw/bolts (2)



Unfasten air line (3) by about 2 revolutions and relieve pressure, then completely remove air line (3) completely

 Installation: Replace O-ring on the air line (3).



Unfasten air line (4) by about 2 revolutions and relieve pressure, then completely remove air line (4) completely

 Installation: Replace O-ring on the air line (4).



Unscrew connection fitting (5) from overflow valve (6)



Remove overflow valve (6) together with SCR compressed air pressure limiter solenoid valve

Loosen nut (7) and remove connection fitting (8) from overflow valve (6)

Only when replacing the overflow valve (6).

 Installation: Take note of the direction of installation (arrow) on the overflow valve (6) housing.



Install in the reverse order

Fill compressed air system up to the shutoff pressure and check for leaktightness
