Open the maintenance cover

Open the engine compartment

 The access to perform maintenance and repair works varies according to the manufacturer and the body type.

Remove the air intake hose disposed before the turbocharger (3)

Remove the exhaust gas flexible pipe (1) from the exhaust gas pipe

Clean the contact surface on the exhaust gas pipe

6

Close the exhaust gas pipe with the cover (4.5) and the clamp (2)

Install the leak-tightness (4) with the hose (4.2) on turbocharger (3)

Remove the cap of the oil filling neck on the cylinder head cover


The cap of the oil filling neck must be removed during the whole leak-tightness test.
Otherwise, the cylinder head cover may be damaged.

Disconnect the air suction hose of the compressor on the connexion (6)

Close the opening on connexion (6) with the cover (4.3)

Release the hose (5) on connexion (6)

Close the opening on connexion (6) with the cover (4.4)

Check the turbocharge air system for leak-tightness with leak-finder spray

Remove hose for compressed air on the leak-tightness tester (4)

Pressurize the turbocharge air system by actuating the lever (4.1)

Remove the leak-tightness tester (4) with the hose (4.2)

Remove the cover (4.4) and install the hose (5) on connexion (6)

18

Remove the cover (4.3) and install the air suction hose on connexion (6)

19

Remove the cover (4.5) on the exhaust gas pipe

20

Install the exhaust gas flexible pipe (1) on the exhaust gas pipe

Install the air suction pipe disposed before the turbocharger (3)
