Remove/install

Drain coolant of main circuit.

Remove coolant hoses (2) from connection fitting on coolant thermostat (1).

 Seal connections. Collect escaping coolant.

Seal openings on coolant thermostat (1) using suitable stop plugs.

 Record plug

Remove nut (3).

Remove coolant thermostat (1).

 Installation: Ensure that guide (arrow A) of coolant thermostat (1) is seated correctly on bracket (4).

Install in the reverse order.
