Remove leak oil lines (2)

To do this, push in clamps (3) and detach leak oil lines (2). Collect escaping fuel and seal connections.

To do so release lock (6) in direction of arrow and detach leak oil lines (2). Collect escaping fuel and seal connections.

Remove screw/bolts (4)

 Installation: Replace screws/bolts (4).

Remove clamping claw (5)


Mark assignment of clamping claw (5) and cylinder 1 fuel injector (Y76/1), cylinder 2 fuel injector (Y76/2), cylinder 3 fuel injector (Y76/3) and cylinder 4 fuel injector (Y76/4).
The classification must be newly entered in the control unit otherwise.

Remove cylinder 1 fuel injector (Y76/1), cylinder 2 fuel injector (Y76/2), cylinder 3 fuel injector (Y76/3) and cylinder 4 fuel injector (Y76/4)

 Installation: Install new sealing rings and coat injector shafts with special grease.

Clean cylinder 1 fuel injector (Y76/1), cylinder 2 fuel injector (Y76/2), cylinder 3 fuel injector (Y76/3) and cylinder 4 fuel injector (Y76/4) and injector wells

Install in the reverse order

Enter classification of cylinder 1 fuel injector (Y76/1), cylinder 2 fuel injector (Y76/2), cylinder 3 fuel injector (Y76/3) and cylinder 4 fuel injector (Y76/4) in control unit

Only when replacing cylinder 1 fuel injector (Y76/1), cylinder 2 fuel injector (Y76/2), cylinder 3 fuel injector (Y76/3) and cylinder 4 fuel injector (Y76/4).



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
