1 | Remove the injection unit |

For all work to be performed in the injection unit, special attention should be given to the thorough cleaning. | |||
2 | Clean the injection unit (1) | Plug the holes in the injection unit to prevent dirt and cleaners from entering. | |
3 | Remove the sealing rings (8, 9 and 10) from the injection unit (1) | ||
4 | Mark the position of the interposer (3) relative to the injection unit body (arrow A) and prop the injection unit on the thrust plate (7) | For marking, use a tracer tip or a pencil. Do not use a punching tool (tapping). | |
5 | Remove the screws (6) and remove the electromagnet (4) together with the interposer (3) and the nameplate (5) | First, remove the paint residues from the heads of the screws (arrow B). | |

6 | Remove the interposer (3) and the nameplate (5) from the electromagnet (4) | Clean the sealing surface of the electromagnet (4). Clean the nameplate (5) and remove the paint from the screw heads supporting area. | |
7 | Remove the seals (2) and clean the interposer (3) | Be careful not to damage the sealing surfaces. | |
8 | Mark the crosspiece (1.2) and the armature plate (1.1) in relation to the body of the injection unit (1) (arrow C) | Mark using a pencil. Do not use a tracer tip or a punching tool. The crosspiece (1.2) should not be displaced or forced. | |
9 | Clean the sealing surfaces on the body of the injection unit (1), the crosspiece (1.2) and the armature plate (1.1) | Be careful not to damage the parts and sealing surfaces. | |
Do not remove the existing paint from the body of the injection unit (1), it serves as a reference to position the interposer (3) in the assembly. | |||
10 | Remove the thrust plate (7) | ||

11 | Place a new thrust plate (7) under the body of the injection unit (1) | ||
12 | Place the new gaskets (2) on the interposer (3) | Secure the gaskets (2) on the plate (3) with a thin layer of grease. | |
13 | Place the interposer (3) with the gasket (2) on the body of the injection unit (1) | Pay attention to the marking of the crosspiece (1.2) and the armature plate (1.1) with respect to the position the injection unit (1) body. The slots (arrow D) on the interposer (3) should be oriented towards the crosspiece (1.2) | |
The existing paint serves as a reference to position the interposer (3) on the injection unit (1) body. | |||
14 | Place the electromagnet (4) on the interposer (3) | ||
15 | Put the nameplate (5) and install the screws (6), securing it with the electromagnet (4), the interposer (3), the injection unit (1) body and the thrust plate (7) | Tighten the screws (6) crosswise. | |
