1 | Remove the fuel inlet pipe | Connect the pressure pipe of the motor pump (7) utilizing the adapter (8) and the hollow bolt (8a). | |
Installing: Tighten the hollow bolt (8a) to the specified torque. | |||
All sealing washers of the connections, will have to be replaced at assembly, checking for tightness. | |||

2 | Remove the relief valve from the injection pump (1) | Place the plug (9) in its place. | |
Installing: Check the relief valve for its operation, apply the specified tightening torque and if necessary, replace it. | |||

3 | Install the curved tube with sight glass (6) in place of the 1st cylinder injection line | If the delivery start adjustment is carried out without the injection lines, special plugs have to be installed in their place, except at the 1st cylinder. | |
Installing: Tighten the injection pipes to the specified torque. | |||

4 | Fill the reservoir (3) | Utilize filtered Diesel oil. | |
5 | Advance the acceleration lever | With the help of the spring (10), place the acceleration lever of the pump (1) at maximum load. | |
6 | Install the electric motor pump (2) | Observe that the switch (5) is in OFF position. | |
Connect the wires (4) to the 12V battery. | |||

7 | Turn the crankshaft in operating direction until approximately 1/4 of one turn before TDC of 1st cylinder's compression stroke | Depending on the type of engine or if it is still on stands or installed in the vehicle, the crankshaft can be turned at the anti-vibration pulley bolt or at the ring gear. | |

8 | Switch-on the electric motor pump (2) | Turn the crankshaft until the fuel flow coming out the test tube (6) diminishes to a series of steady drops (C) when the start of delivery marking on the anti-vibration pulley (11) coincides with the arrow (12). | |
9 | Adjust the start of delivery and position the indicating arrow (12) | Turn the crankshaft in the operating direction until coinciding with the arrow (12) 1st cylinder being in the compression stroke. | |

10 | Remove the electric motor pump (2) | Remove the pressure pipe (7) from the injection pump (1), the adapter (8) and install the supply pipe from the filter to the injection pump (1). | |
| |||
11 | Bleed the system | Loosen 1/2 of one turn the hollow bolt (8a), unscrew the handle (13) of the supply pump and operate it until bubble-free fuel flows out. | |
Once bleeding is complete, tighten the handle (13) and the hollow bolt (8a), check for tightness | |||
