Roller-type cam follower

 	Remove/install
1	Remove camshaft case with camshafts		AR05.20-P-6997OLC
2	Remove roller cam follower (3) together with the compensating element (1)	 When removing several compensating elements (1) make sure that roller-type cam follower (3) with compensating elements (1), which were not replaced, are reinstalled at the previous fitting point. Mark roller cam follower (3) and compensating elements (1) relative to each other if necessary.
		 Installation: Lubricate the roller cam follower (3) and compensating elements (1).
		 Engine oil	*BF18.00-P-1001-01FA
3	Detach the clamp (2) by hand and remove compensating element (1) from roller cam follower (3)
	Check
4	Check compensating element (1) for proper operation	 Only push compensating element (1) together by hand, do not use a steel tool. Otherwise the surface of the compensating element (1) can be damaged.
		 The compensating element (1) should not allow itself to be pressed together by the normal force of the hand and also only slowly when using a strong force.
		If a number of compensating elements (1) are defective.
		
		Check compress oil supply of cylinder head.
