| Remove/install | ||
1 | Switch off ignition | ||
Danger! | Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted | Ensure that no one is within tilting range of cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt cab all the way to end position and secure with safety strut.
2 | Tilt cab | Installation: Only tilt cab back after leak test has been conducted.
| Notes on tilting the cab | ||
3 | Remove soundproofing on frame at upper left
4 | Disconnect electrical connector (1)
5.1 | Remove hydraulic constant throttle solenoid valve (Y49) at housing (3) | When removing hydraulic constant throttle solenoid valve (Y49).
Collect engine oil that flows out.
| |||
5.2 | Remove housing (3) with hydraulic constant throttle solenoid valve (Y49) | When removing the housing (3) with installed hydraulic constant throttle solenoid valve (Y49).
Collect engine oil that flows out.
Installation: Replace sealing rings for hydraulic line (2) and seal under housing (3).
6 | Install in the reverse order
7 | Check engine oil level at display; correct if necessary | Observe engine oil grade set in maintenance system or Specifications for Operating Fluids.
| Notes on engine oil | ||
Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
8 | Start engine and allow to run in idle for 10 s until the oil pressure has built up, then run the engine at varying speeds
9 | Turn off the engine and check area of hydraulic constant throttle solenoid valve (Y49) for leaks | Visual inspection. |
