Remove spark plugs.



Remove front section of the front right fender liner.

Move piston of the cylinder to be checked at the center bolt of the crankshaft to bottom dead center (BDC).

 Rotate engine at center Bolt, crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation.

 Socket wrench bit

Connect light source (1) and insert endoscope (2) through the bore of the spark plug into the cylinder.



Check

Check cylinder barrel of the cylinder to be checked for scoring.

 If there is 'scoring' (wear to the cylinder), the cylinder barrel has become rough and honing marks are no longer visible.

If the condition of the cylinder barrel is not clearly recognizable,



Remove cylinder head.

Perform check of other cylinders in the same way.

Install in the reverse order
