 	Remove/install

 Danger!	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
1	Bring engine to its operating temperature of about 80°C and switch off ignition	 Only test compression pressure when engine is at normal operating temperature.
2	Remove spark plugs		AP15.10-D-1580H
3	Connect compression recorder (1) and crank engine with the starter by actuating the contact switch (2)	 To remove combustion residues from the cylinders.	AR01.10-D-0110US

5	Crank engine with contact switch (2) on the compression recorder (1) until an increase in pressure is no longer indicated on the compression recorder (1)	 The measurements are written on the diagram sheet.

		 In the case of undershooting of the wear limit or for exceeding the permissible difference between the individual cylinders, the cylinder leakage on the respective cylinder must be checked. See: 
