Drain transmission oil

Clean working area around drain screw on the torque converter and oil pan drain screw (6)

Position suitable receptacle under the transmission

Remove oil pan drain screw (6)

 Let all the oil drain off when still at operating temperature.

Screw in oil pan drain screw (6) and then tighten

 Replace sealing ring (7).

Pull oil filter (1) down and off

Insert new oil filter (1)

Perform engine test run and check transmission for leaks with engine running

 Check oil pan (3), oil pan drain screw (6) and torque converter drain screw (8) for leaktightness.

Fit cap to underside of torque converter housing

Confirm transmission oil change in maintenance booklet/DSB
