Table for calculating refill quantity of anticorrosion and antifreeze agent

A

Anti-corrosion agent concentration and antifreeze concentration in vol.%

B

Total coolant capacity in liters

C

Refill quantity of anti-corrosion agent and antifreeze in liters

N20.00-0377-04

Example of calculation:
Measured antifreeze -20 °C = 32 vol.%
Anti-corrosion agent concentration and antifreeze concentration in vol.% (A)
Total coolant capacity in liters (B) = 8.5 l
Required refill quantity of anticorrosion and antifreeze agent in liters (C) = 2.25 l

Correcting anticorrosion/antifreeze concentration

1

Enter the anticorrosion and antifreeze concentration in vol.% (A) in the calculation table.

2

Enter total coolant filling quantity in liters (B) in the calculation table.

3

Determine required refill quantity of anticorrosion and antifreeze agent in liters (C).

4

Remove coolant hose (1).

There is no drain screw on the cooler.

5

Drain the coolant in the calculated refill quantity of anticorrosion and antifreeze agent in liters (C).

6

Attach coolant hose (1).

Check for correct seating.

7

Fill in the calculated refill quantity of anticorrosion and antifreeze agent in liters (C) into the cooling system.

8

Start engine and run for about 1 minute at varying revs.
