Front passenger seat occupied recognition sensor with automatic child seat recognition (ACSR) (B48)

If no fault exists, the automatic child seat recognition warning lamp (N72e1) only comes on when the front passenger seat occupied recognition sensor with automatic child seat recognition (ACSR) (B48) has recognized a child seat. If the front passenger seat is not occupied (either by a person or child seat), the airbag, side airbag and emergency tensioning retractor on the front passenger side are deactivated and automatic child seat recognition warning lamp (N72e1) not illuminated.
