After operating the Tempomat lever, the functions in the HHT are highlighted in black; if necessary refer to actual value 18. If all the functions in the operational check are correctly displayed, the causes for the fault code display may be the following:

- Poor fixing of switch positions, replace Tempomat switch (S27).

- If it is certain that fault was not activated by incorrect operation (double operation of Tempomat switch), inspect plug connections for loose contact (move mechanically) and for corrosion. Inspect wiring harness for chafing points.
