Propeller adjustment procedure
The verification of the pitch measure as well as the adjustment must be carried out within at most, 30 seconds. If it is necessary to take more time, observe a two minutes interval between each attempt to avoid the overheating of the solenoid.
A - Apply voltage between the “S” terminal and the solenoid's negative pole (figure 3 and 5).
B - Momentarily, connect a cable between the negative and the “M” terminal do the solenoid (figure 3 and 5). The solenoid will move the propeller (item 1 of figure 4 and item 3 of figure 6) to the actuation position.
C - After the solenoid has been energized, tighten the rod fastening nut ( item 8 of figure 2) until the fork contacts the piston rod.
B15.30-1022-05
D - Push the start-up propeller in the shifter direction (item 1 of figure 4) to remove the clearance existing in the set (item 4 of figure 4).
E - Check the measure of the propeller pitch (item 5 of figure 4).
F - If necessary, adjust the distance, tightening or loosening the solenoid piston rod fastening nut (item 8 of figure 2).
G - After the adjustment, switch off the voltage applied to the solenoid.
H - Wait for a 2 minutes period and check the adjustment, repeating the measurement.
