Remove the clutch.

For engines with clutch MFZ 430.

Remove the manhole cover of the TDC in the distribution housing.

Install the device for rotating and locking the engine.

Remove fastening screws of the steering wheel (1).

Install: Steering wheel screws greased with engine oil.

Measure the length of the steering wheel fastening screws (1).

If the dimensions are exceeded, replace the screws (1).

Install the guide pins (4).

Install inner puller (5) and counter-support (6).

Under the clutches of the counter-support, use shims, for example, copper shims in order to avoid damaging the steering wheel (3).

Install: A new guide bearing (2) to the quill (7).

If the steering wheel (3) is dismounted, remove the bearing (2) with a suitable quill (7).

Install in the reverse order.
