Optimized pneumatic 3/2-way valve (2)
As part of ongoing technical developments and for improving function, the standard installed 3/2-way valve (1) (A 000 997 52 12 or A 000 997 41 12 (only on model 437.4 with code Z16 (Special parts for fording capability))) has been replaced for engine power take-off with the optimized 3/2-way valve (2) (A 000 997 51 12 or A 000 997 36 12 (only on model 437.4 with code Z16 (Special parts for fording capability))).
When an optimized 3/2-way valve (2) is installed, the adapter cable (3) (A 405 546 36 12) must also be installed, as the electrical connection on the optimized 3/2-way valve (2) is different.
The optimized 3/2-way valve (2) may only be installed instead of the 3/2-way valve (1) at the installation location described above with code N05 (Engine power take-off, rearwards, with flange), as the nominal width (rate of air flow) has changed from 2.2 to 4.
If it is installed at another installation location, the major assemblies may become damaged or malfunctions may occur.
Standard 3/2-way valve installation (1 or 4)
The standard installed 3/2-way valve (1 or 4) (A 000 997 52 12 or A 000 997 41 12 (only on model 437.4 with code Z16 (Special parts for fording capability))) is and may continue to be used at other installation locations.

Additional information for model 405 with code M74 (Clean-Fix cooler rapid cleaning system)
The optimized 3/2-way valve (2) (A 000 997 51 12) does not have a cross hole for the air supply to additional 3/2-way valves.
Therefore it is absolutely necessary to seal the existing bore in the 3/2-way valve (4) with a sealing ring and screw plug (8) and to install an additional compressed-air supply system (6) to the 3/2-way valve (4) with a T-connector (7).
The modification of the compressed-air supply system must be conducted.
Otherwise, the reversible fan will no longer function properly.
