Remove front seat side airbag

Remove hinge covers (2) from seat frame (1)

Remove retaining clips (5) and electrical line from seat frame (1)

 Installation: Check retaining clips (5).

If retaining clips (5) are damaged



Replace retaining clips (5).

Remove seat belt buckle (4) from seat frame (1)

 Remove screw (3) to do this.

 Nut, seat belt buckle to front seat

Remove electrical connectors (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12)

 Scope of electrical connectors (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) dependent on equipment installed.

Remove electrical wiring harnesses from seat frame (1)

 To do so, remove retaining clips (6) from seat frame (1).
Scope of electrical wiring harnesses dependent on equipment installed.

 Installation: Check retaining clips (6).

If retaining clips (6) are damaged



Replace the retaining clips (6).

Install in the reverse order



Perform function check of all electrical systems on front seat

 Scope of function test depends on equipment installed.

Perform function check of seat belt and seat belt buckle (4)

 Seat belts/emergency tensioning retractors
