Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove

Raise vehicle.

Using suitable tape, mask off areas of front door that are directly adjacent to fender (1) to be removed.

Remove corresponding front fender.

Remove washer fluid reservoir of windshield washer system.

When removing right fender (1).

Remove corresponding front lamp unit.

Unclip corresponding trim (2) and remove downwards.

Open corresponding front door.

Loosen bolt (3) a few turns.

Unscrew bolt (4).

Remove bolts (5).

Disconnect adhesively bonded connections in areas (A, B).


To do this, use a suitable cutting tool.
Otherwise paint damage may occur.

Remove screw (6).

Remove screws (7).

Remove fender (1).



Install

15

Remove loose residues of residual adhesive material at A-pillar.

Remove loose residues of residual adhesive material at fender (1).

When reinstalling fender (1).

Apply adhesive to areas (A, B) on inside of fender (1).

 When reinstalling fender (1), apply adhesive to existing residual adhesive material.

Position fender (1) on vehicle.


Carefully position fender (1).
Otherwise paint damage may occur on the front door or fender (1).

Manually slightly screw in screws/bolts (3, 4, 5, 6, 7).

Align fender (1).
