Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit

Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.

Detach electrical connector from heater unit

When in the heating mode or during the run-on phase, the heater unit's power supply must not be interrupted.

Remove upper housing shell

Detach heater unit electrical line (7) with cable grommet (2) from lower housing shell (3)

Remove control unit (4)

Remove bolt (5). Push retaining clamp (6) together and remove control unit (4) upwards until the electrical connectors (8) on the control unit (4) are accessible.

Detach electrical connectors (8) on the control unit (4)

The electrical connectors (8) are coded and cannot be interchanged.

Install in the reverse order
