Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed rooms or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.

Remove/install

Remove warm air auxiliary heater unit

Only when the cylinder shell at bottom (7) is removed.

Vehicles with code F1R (L cab)

Rotate protective grille (9) through 900 and remove

Release locking tabs (6) and lift cylinder shell at top (5) in direction of arrow (A) first and then remove in the direction of arrow (B)

Use suitable tool to pry cover (2) out of strikers (4) then remove

 Installation: Align cover (2) with strikers (4) to the cutouts (3).

Unhook electrical line (1) with cable grommet from cylinder shell at bottom (7)

Remove warm air auxiliary heater unit from cylinder shell at bottom (7)



Check

7

Check seal (8) for damage

 Installation: Replace damaged seal (8).

Install in the reverse order

Check warm air auxiliary heater unit for proper operation

 See operator's manual for warm air auxiliary heater unit.
