1 | Disconnect ground lead from battery | The ground lead must not be disconnected when the heater is in operation or during the run-on phase. | |

3 | Remove outlet shroud (3) from housing segments (1, 4) | Press nose (arrow) of outlet shroud downward and remove outlet shroud. | |
4 | Remove expansion rivet (2) | Punch through expansion rivet drift (arrow A) and remove expansion rivet. Installation: Use new expansion rivet. | |
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
