Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. | |
1 | Reduce pressure in coolant circuit | To do this, turn closure cap of coolant expansion tank to notch position 1. | |
2 | Remove and disassemble heater (A6) | Only disassemble until circulation pump (A6m1) can be removed. | |
3 | Unclip heater cover (5) | ||
4 | Disconnect circulation pump coupling (8) | Installation: coupling is coded. | |
5 | Release circulation pump attachment (17) and detach bracket (13) | Installation: attach circulation pump bracket first. | |
6 | Detach circulation pump (A6m1) from coolant hose (4) | Collect escaping coolant and fill back into coolant expansion tank after installation. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Bleed coolant circuit following installation of the heater | ||
