 	Remove/install
	When working on the refrigerant circuit, seal all openings with suitable caps in order to prevent unnecessary penetration by air humidity and dirt. All sealing rings must be replaced and moistened with compressor oil.

3	Remove poly-V belt
			AP13.22-D-1381A
4	Undo bolt (2).		*BA83.55-N-1002-01A
5	Unscrew bolt (6).		*BA83.55-N-1001-01A
6	Remove refrigerant line (7)	 Installation: Install new O-ring (1) and moisten with compressor oil.
7	Remove bolt (3)		*BA83.55-N-1002-01A
8	Remove bolt (9) of refrigerant line bracket (7) to oil pan	 Engine 111	*BA01.45-N-1001-01A
		Engine 601	*BA01.45-N-1001-01H
		 External torx set	*001589760900
9	Remove refrigerant line (4)	 Installation: Install new O-ring (1) and moisten with compressor oil.
10	Unplug connector (Y38.1)
11	Remove screws/bolts (5), remove refrigerant compressor (8)	 Observe oil refill quantity when replacing refrigerant compressor (8). If refrigerant compressor is replaced due to internal damage,	*BF83.30-N-1002-01A
		Replace refrigerant lines and 	AR83.30-S-7800B
		replace expansion valve.	AR83.30-S-5520A

13	Install in the reverse order
14	Replace fluid reservoir	 Whenever any work is carried out on the air conditioning system, the fluid reservoir must be replaced.	AR83.30-S-6520A
	Checking
 Danger!	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury from bruises and burns if you place your hand into the engine when it is started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 15	Check air conditioning for proper operation	 Run engine at idling speed for about 4 minutes and check all the component functions which are of relevance for proper operation of the air conditioning system.
