Risk of explosion caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.

Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been drained.

Unscrew the nuts (1)

 Nut connecting bracket to retaining frame

 Installation: Ensure correct installation position of guide pins (4) in bracket (2).

Remove fluid reservoir (7)

 Installation:
The packaging of the new fluid reservoir (7) must not be damaged. Ensure that the new fluid reservoir (7) is installed and the entire refrigerant circuit closed within 20 minutes after opening the package at the latest.
Otherwise the function of the fluid reservoir (7) can no longer be ensured.

 Installation: Use new fluid reservoir (7).

 Installation: Replace sealing ring of refrigerant line and moisten with compressor oil.

Use suitable plug to seal opening of refrigerant line and suitable stop plug to seal opening of fluid reservoir (7)


The opening of the refrigerant line and the fluid reservoir (7) must be sealed.
Otherwise, ingressing dirt and moisture may damage the components connected to the refrigerant circuit.
