Removal, installation

Set up installation position with roof switch

 Leave ignition switched on. The Vario roof remains in this position for 7 min. after releasing the roof switch (stop function). Press the roof switch again to set this position for another 7 min.

Remove covering at front of Vario roof

Press limit switches (S69/2, S69/3) and control cable (2) off of catch (1) with screwdriver

Unscrew screw (3) and remove catch (1)

Remove hydraulic cylinder (4)

Reinstall in opposite order



 Start all bolts, lock catch with 6 mm Allen wrench and unlock again. Hold catch in unlocking direction and tighten outer bolts first, then center bolt
