Remove right rear entry/exit lamp (E17/6) or left rear entry/exit lamp (E17/5) and remove electrical connector (6)

Lift out door sill trim (5) upward

Remove reinforcement for floor covering on sliding door entrance

Prick plug (7) with screwdriver in center and pry out

 Installation: Replace stop plug (7).

Remove bolt (8)

Remove lower guide rail (9)

 Installation: Before installing the lower guide rail (9), make sure that the sectional molding (10) is aligned centrally between the two threaded pins (11) and pushed as far as the stop (towards outside of vehicle) on the protective foil (12).
